Dayaw Season 5
Dayaw Season 5 Episode 1 : Ang Niño at ang Nazareno
The first episode explores two icons intertwined with the ways we worship and survive: the “Nuestro Señor Cristo Nazareno,” who embodies our sufferings, our patience and endurance, and the “Santo Niño,” who embodies our optimism, our joy, our child-like exuberance.
Dayaw Season 5 Episode 6 : Si Maria at si Niño
We end season five with a look at an icon who holds a very special place in the heart of Catholic Filipinos. In her, we see Mother, Mediatrix, a source of succor and consolation. The Virgin Mary becomes a personal symbol of identity, a reminder of the old hometown, the province, the communities we return to during her fiestas.
